High Plains Church Unitarian Universalist

High School Youth

YRUU stands for Young Religious Unitarian Universalists. YRUU connects high school age youth to the spirit of Unitarian Universalism through radical hospitality, youth empowerment, consciousness raising, and social change. Events encourage leadership and spiritual development in youth ages 14-18 working alongside adult advisors. While we are a Unitarian Universalist organization, any youth with an open mind is welcome at our events.

YRUU is both a social and academic group. We explore our UU heritage and what it means to be a UU. We also spend time getting to know one another and strengthen our bonds of friendship and community both within our own group and with our larger YRUU community through district events.

YRUU Mission Statement: As a community we strive to achieve justice through social action, radical acceptance, leadership and love to take with us on our many spiritual paths through life.

YRUU meets once a week from 12:30 - 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoons. Location alternates by month between All Souls UU Church and High Plains Church UU. Colorado Springs YRUU Registration Form
